Ardhi Yetu Programme (AYP+)
Since May 2018, PAICODEO has been participating in the implementation of the Ardhi Yetu (AYP+) program sponsored by Care International Tanzania.
In the program, PAICODEO's objective is to contribute to the overall goal of the program which is “active communities and civil society advocate for an inclusive and transparent land sector, strengthening the land tenure security and resilience of small-scale farming and pastoral communities—particularly women."
To achieve the overall goal, PAICODEOs' objective is to work with pastoralists and small-scale farming communities especially women to ensure they have a capacity to advocate for their rights, participate in natural resource governance, develop and implement strategies that address climate change impacts.
The program is under implementation in Kilosa, Mvomero, Kiteto, and Morogoro districts.
